Welcome onto my pigeonsite. It is not easy to tell something about myself. Introducing other people is no problem but introducing yourself……
I am Ton Anders, pigeonfancier with heart and soul. The infection with the so-called “pigeonvirus” took place many many years agoo. I could tell you about all the interresting stories I have been through all those years as a fancier but I will not do that. With a lot of efforts and through the help of extra good pigeons we worked ourselves to the top  and hold that place up to now.

I have given a lot of free hours for clubs, combines, it didn’t matter what. I also communicated with other fanciers. Every once in a while I was used as a commisionair between buyer and seller. This became  more usual than sometimes. It grew out of his proportions but again it was a pure pleasure to me. But because of these things and a very demanding job I decided to slow down everything my pigeons were concerned. I must admit that it felt super. Very relaxed. Bad weather forecast or tropical temperatures. Ton kept his birds in and didn’t compete for the championships

One day I met Harry Pen. Harry was forced because of lungproblems getting rid of his pigeons. He brought his pigeons under my care.
Such a waste, this toploft would fall apart. The inavitable happenned , TOTAL SALE!!! With an enormous profit. But before that happened Harry suggested to bread a total round of youngbirds and this way let his family of birds live through in my loft. That sounded like music in my ears since I knew the quality of his birds and I agreed.
I couldn’t wait to start allover again. My hands and my brain wer e eager to be at the top as soon as possible. As a joke I made the suggestion that we would restart under the name of COMBINATION ANDERS. Harry just smiled and this way the Combination Anders was born.

Harry was good friends with a certain Wijnand de Weers from IJmuiden. He and Wijnand shared good and bad and exchanged pigeons. Wijnand is also the kind of man that makes his eyes shine as soon as pigeon-talk starts. He spontaniously starts telling about them and whether you like it or not, you have to listen. Very soon a bond was growing between Wijnand and me.

This way a new pigeon period for me was born with pigeon-family Pen/Van Weers. Not one feather on my body ever regretted this decision. I had the privalige to start with a pigeon-family without anyone having a chance to pick the best birds before I got what was left. No I got the family and the Keybirds as well. This way I could harvest at once as you will see on the results below,
